The Padres defeated The Crusaders 10-9 and11-10 yesterday with Pat Gaudet tallying his first jack of the season in the first inning of the first game.  A big 2nd inning rally in game 2 proved to be the difference.  Next up for the Padres is a two game set against the Guy Gravel Domes June 15th, 7:30, north field.

                  Padres drop fist two

Where just going to call it a rusty start, the Pads dropped game one 11-7 despite a 5th inning 4 run rally that saw Joel Pelletier knock one deep to right field for his first of the year.  Game 2 started off well being up 5-3 in the 3rd, unfortunately a few mental lapses and the experienced Caps lineup managed to score 6 runs.  Falher went on to lose the game 11-5. With the week off the boys and girls will most definately regroup and get back to business next monday when they play a double header against cross town rivals Falher Crusaders.

Roster's are completed.

With the regular season coming up in a couple weeks,
the Padres have made a couple brave decisions.

The Padres, known for their excessive and exstatic behavior
when it comes to signing and moving players around,
have just made three huge moves.

The newest members of the FalherPadres are
Carynne Coloumbe who will be taking role as lead pitcher,
Michelle Dumont who will be playing back-catcher.

Also, the movement of Joel Aubin from Outfield, to second base,
is sure to give the Padres a more solid and disciplined In-Field.

However, short stop Joel Pelletier is still wary on signing a 3 month extension
to play with the team, not only for regular season games, but also
for the tournaments. If he waves his no trade clause,
then the Padres could be in some seriouse trouble for when it comes
time for the HoneyFest tournament.

But who knows, maybe the SpingCamp will show some players
with true potential, at becoming the newest member(s) of your
FalherPadres.
